Rear Vents Projects

I replaced the GT's plastic rear vents with some custom billet rear vents. The stock vents would warp under certain conditions. The billet vents looks cooler anyway.

When the billet vents first arrived they looked awesome but...

it was a little to pimpy for me (yes even me)

so here are the painted billet vents next to the stock plastic vents.

The vents look nice, I can't believe the old ones were plastic.

The stock vents would warp if you put an aftermarket exhaust that looped up to close to the clamshell. As a result someone had these parts CnC'd. I think they are superior in materials, craftsmanship and appearance so I put them on my car even though I don't have the exhaust system that would cause the factory vents to warp.

heh... no it's not a whipple... the whipple SC'r say "WHIPPLE" on them, in large annoying letters. I may have that removed.

That's the ticket! A stealth mode Whipple 4l! That plus the new Hoosiers and the HPF M3 will be a fleeting image in your rear view mirror.

It has a large red sticker on the sides but it also has WHIPPLE engraved on the top... I guess they are proud of the product. However, if they are not going to pay me for the advertising then I am not going plaster badges all over my car.

you have the use of seven characters without spaces.. I believe. the space in the middle of standard issue plates leaves room for the 7th character.
