I am considering getting another Porsche for my daily driver.

The car is alpine white on black with 24k miles. The only modification on the car is the oval tips Eisenmann exhaust. The car has the SMG transmission and has most of the other options aside from the heads up display and soft close doors.

Make me an offer; I plan on trading it before EOY once the right car comes along :thumbsup2:

What are you thinking about getting?

I am debating between a used 997 Turbo or a used 997 GT3

2 cents? I think I recall you mentioning something about overly expensive brake jobs if you track the car too much. I could be wrong though. :hmmmm2:

He took the ceramics off when he tracked the car.

Any car driven properly on the track is going to consume a lot of pad and wear the rotars. The ceramics rotars Porsche uses is perfect for reducing un-sprung weight and handling heat. It is a wear item and as such will need replacement. If you just use the ceramic rotars on the street, the rotars will last much longer than steel.

If you are not wearing pads or rotars, you probably are early braking and riding on them in a typical street driving scenario. Again just my .02. Q has an awesome car for street or track, no doubt about that!
