Just goes to show you how well Chevrolet did on that car. He usually despises American cars and can usually find anything to hate about any car. I saw his last segment with the ZR1, Challenger and Cadillac, and he says he needs to buy a Corvette ZR1. Good job Chevy:thumbsup2:

That was specifically for the American version of the show. I think they made him be nice.

Yeah +1, the big 3 needs a bailout for a reason.

He did buy a Ford GT, so he can't really hate American cars that much.
I think it's just popular to hate on American cars in Europe, especially on that show.

True but I think he REALLY hated the GT by the time he sold it. Then of course he bought it back a year later... strange man.

Some people just have a love/hate relationship w/ cars.
I remember reading about a guy out in SoCal a few years ago that lemon lawed a 3rd gen RX-7 for reliability issues, but ended up buying another one because he loved how they handled. I'll try to find the blog about it.

True, but it's not because of the ZR1.

Do we know that for sure? I would like to think so. Many a skunk/special project for big companies has been done with hidden internal costs that never make it to the official budget or finance records, hidden from management and all others. This is a very common practice. So do we really know? GM and especially Chevrolet has holes and waste in it finances that no one will ever understand. :(

Don't worry, when it becomes Government Motors there will be full disclosure for all to see. :)

GM has been in financial dismay LONG before the new ZR1 was thought of.
