View Full Version : New member w/ Boss 302

Hi all,

Jerry (CaddyRacer) has pointed me here on more than a few occasions for one thing or another. I decided to finally register. I have a 2012 Boss 302 in competition orange. I've had the car since April of this year. Technically its the second one I've had. I originally purchased #0001 from Prestige in Garland, had it a month or so, sold it to a collector and ended up with this Boss #0333.

I couldn't bring my self to abuse that first car like i can this one. So far i have autocrossed the car several times, and found that the thing for me is road racing. I've done a couple events at ECR now and love it. i also went to Crandall with some local guys (I live in the Tyler area) for my first stab at drag racing, John Force has a way more difficult job than i gave him credit for!

This is my daily driver, generally it has a pink booster seat in the back seat for my daughter. It's on factory tires and suspension, only mods are long tube headers, catted x-pipe, and different mufflers.

Welcome to the club. The Boss 302 and the 302LS is changing my opinion of Ford. They have really stepped up their game.

I think I read your story in one of the Mustang rags, pretty cool none the less. I love the color! I hope to see you on the track soon.

Hey dude! I don't think anyone will ever forget that story after all, it was a pretty EPIC purchase. Glad you joined the forum and are adding to our overwhelming collection of shelby/boss mustang owners. See ya at the track!

Welcome. I too followed your story on the Boss forum. I was 99% sold on a Boss 302 but ended up with the Raptor.
