Ahh, memories from my ricer days. Had a Crystal blue Type SH that I riced out successfully. FYI, turbo's on SH's suck with the ATTS, coupled with a moron that installed and didn't tune it which cost me the stock motor. Then I did a JDM Type S motor installed by Tony when he was at Jotech, color conversion to S2000 Spa Yellow. At least $25,000 modifying a $27,000 car. :(

I had a '97 but not the SH. They were really fun cars.

Wow I must have been the total ricer with an Integra GSR -'95.
At least the prelude had class, the teg was just silly fast.

Another former 5th gen owner here. I had a Eucalyptus Green '98 Sportshift. Only automatic I've only owned. Also ironically the first car I autocrossed and tracked.

I'm pretty sure the Tony he is talking about now runs T1 Race Development.

My mother had an '84 Prelude (gen 2?) with an automatic. She loved it. She gave it to my daughter (for her first car) in '96. It didn't have much power, but it was fun to drive as it handled really well.

Tony Palo of T1, yes. Knows his stuff, and a trustworthy guy. Not sure who the Asian Tony you are talking about is, maybe Kenny's brother?

No, mine was riced out. VIS Invader body kit, S2000 seats, white wheels, chrome/polish under the hood. It wasn't one of the cars that had duct tape holding it together, but it wasn't like a stock car with wheels and a drop either. I have some photos somewhere, I'll see if I can't upload them later.

The 4 wheel steering in that thing works awesome...totally cool!Agreed. I was bummed when they killed it after the 5th gen. I always hoped they would bring back the AWS. That along with the ATTS in the SH model would have been an awesome combo!

I guess the bid was pretty much alluring. Too bad I missed out on it. I am surprised that it just went 25k miles.
I always liked these too, but I currently have a 5th gen Prelude...Type-R.
...and I just added (Saturday) a "virginal" mint, one-owner, full records, VERY well cared for '92 NSX (WHITE!).
I think the 5th gen Prelude is the NSX trainer. :D

I had a 1991 Prelude Si as a beater for a while. This brings back some good memories of the Lude.
