...is "Like" my company page on Facebook. No purchase necessary. And the winner can bring the $6K in equipment in to the store and we will install it all for free. This is part of a marketing campaign that members of a small group of mobile electronics retailers are putting together to increase our presence on Facebook (all smaller independent shops, not Car Toys or Best Buy, etc.) No strings attached, no BS.

You should see the stereo install Odin's company did on my friend's Matte Balloon White Viper. Full show car, with an even more impressive stereo install :thumbsup2:

Can't wait to hear it! Or see it installed PROPERLY. You know what kind of install I am talking about, without double sided stick tape being used as a permanent fastener or sheet metal screws drilled through and hanging out the bottom of my car by 2 inches. (Thanks for that "install" Car Toys - McKinney, you will never get my money again.)

I got an update from the administrator of the contest today. As of noon today there are only 1122 entries, and the initial rush of entries is over. It's looking like the odds of winning this contest are going to be very good. :thumbsup2:

Since some have asked...from the official rules:

6. Prize Drawing

On or about February 20, 2012, the Sponsor will select potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via email on or about February 23, 2012. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.

i'm a little confused... is there a random drawing to select potential "winners" and then an actual winner is select from there?

and what's a "potential" winner if there is only 1 person randomly selected and is declared the winner?

is there something after being selected as a potential winner that can keep you from being deemed the official winner of the contest?
