Two videos in two days = not much sleep for me. I’ve been working periodically on the video for Taylor’s Lamborghini over a period of weeks, and finally feel like I’ve obtained enough footage to put something out that captures how amazing this kit and platform is. It is very hard to argue how capable these cars are on the street, with AWD providing unmatched traction. Couple this with the brutal acceleration from the twin turbocharges, and the Gallardo has proven itself to be one of the fastest street cars on the market today, even with a stock motor like the stage 1 kit shown in this video. With Gallardo prices falling under $100,000 again, and the price of a stage 1 turbo kit, I imagine more and more people will be jumping on the Gallardo bandwagon.

Awesome video Jason. What are you using? Do I recall you having a Canon 5D? I just shot some DSLR video for the first time today with a Sony A77. I'm thinking this could become addictive.
Great video dude, very well done :thumbsup2:

Yep, 5D Mark II. The big downside to DSLR video is the lack of stabilizers, and no full time auto focus in Live View (video) mode. I believe there is a new Nikon that has full time auto focus (in video mode). The equipment to make stuff look more "professional" is very expensive. Thank goodness I'm not having to mod my car, or I wouldn't have any money for this camera hobby.

New shocks/springs for my car are "on hold" until after I buy a new camera body, a few more lenses, and I'm sure a couple video accessories/tools.
I'm betting the Sony A77 is what you're thinking of...or there could be a new Nikon I'm not aware of. The A77 is the first pro-ish level camera to use phase detection autofocus, since it doesn't have to flip a mirror in order to use it. Being a long-time Konica Minolta shooter, I actually I rented an A77 to make sure I'd like the new EVF (which after 10 minutes I LOVED!) before buying one. The downside is that autofocus only works in Program mode, so if you go manual, or even to aperature or shutter priority, you have to manual focus. Although I did read someone found a "cheat" to get around that. Most people are thinking Sony will turn on AF in all modes in a future firmware update. Regardless, manual focus is freaking awesome with this thing using the "Peaking" feature. It places highlights on the edges of everything in focus, making it super easy to know you've got focus on what you want.
Note the red edges (you can select yellow or white too):

There are aftermarket camera monitors with a lot of cool features (peaking, pixel to pixel, etc.) that help with focusing. Nice purchase down the road, if I get serious about this stuff. Too much $$ now. A friend of mine uses an alpha 77 for photos, nice camera!
