I am new here and have a couple of freshly-built Miata Track cars that I have done a piss poor job of marketing for the past couple of years. For those who frequent MSR, they are identical mechanically to the Yellow Turbo Miata that I use to terrorize people who actually care about their cars. These are race/track cars, i.e. full cages, no side windows and not even close to street legal.
I spent years developing these cars with the data and experience from my Yellow "mule." The Mule was 1st Overall at TWS in the NASA TX enduro in 2008 and 1st in class the next year. These cars will run 1:22s at MSR on the 1.7 CCW, 1:21s on a perfect lap on the perfect day. Brakes won't fade, car won't overheat and you can just plain beat the crap out of them and giggle like a schoolgirl the whole time. You won't get an eBay special to do that. They are not cheap, and each one cost me about $20K to have built, but it is time to clear them out and make room for a project or 2 so I am shall we say "motivated." They ARE cheap to operate, as they are reliable and consumables are, for example, $50 each for Brembo rotors, $115 an axle set for brake pads, $120 for a fender, $750 for an engine or trans in the rare event you hurt one.
About #2250 with driver if you are not a sasquach and set up to run R888s, about 225 hp at the wheels and you can drive it like a Honey Badger.
I have full build sheet and can wipe off the dust for photos if anyone wants a serious track car. Test drives are available if you are really serious.
