I recently detailed a Ferrari F430 for a board member. The car is Silverstone with a Rosso interior. The car arrived in pretty good condition, so after a engine bay wash, exterior wash and clay bar I inspected it and formualted a plan of attack. There were only a few areas that were likely to need more than a single stage polishing so I tackled those first with Menzerna SIP on an orange kompresor pad. Once those areas were corrected, I polished the entire car with Menzerna Super Finish with a white kompressor pad. This combination works great to remove minor swirls and scratches as well as oxidation and finished up to a very high gloss. I used Menzerna PO83RD ultra fine polish on a black kompressor pad with light pressure on the front end of the car that had clear film on it to clean this area up as well. Once all the polishing was done, I applied a coat of Pinnacle Souveran carnauba wax to the car. Of course the engine bay was detailed, the door sills were polished and waxed and the wheels & tires cleaned, etc.
Having finished up the exterior I tackled the interior. I had discussed the leather treatment options with the owner and we decided to use the Leatherique system on the car as I had the time to let it work effectively. I vacuumed the entire interior and dusted everything. As the car has a full leather interior, I proceeded to apply the Leatherique rejuvinator oil to all leather surfaces using a foam paint brush and then let it soak in overnight. The following morning I parked the car in the sun and let it bake all day. That evening, after giving the RO almost 24 hours to work it's magic I used a damp rag and the Pristine clean to remove all the dirt that the RO had forced out of the leather and to the surface. The interior looked good to start with, but after this treatment looked stunning and was butter soft.
Here are some exterior pictures afterwards.
