Left a receipt and flyer from a bookstore on my seat last night, guess water spilt on it and now my leather has a huge pink stain! I plan on selling this car soon so I wanted to know what I could do to fix this.:dontknow::dontknow:

That's a real bummer.:(
You will need to be very gentle with anything you use to clean it. Too much rubbing and you will remove the dye from the leather along with the stain. I would try using cotton balls and maybe some goof off, but be sure to go very lightly. Another option might be Mr Clean magic eraser. Try anything on a hidden area of the leather first to make sure it will not remove the dye too quickly.
If you're not comfortable trying to remove it, I would take it to a pro and let them do it for you.

Another option based on a little research in the detailing forums I frequent is to try using Stoners Invisible Glass and a short nap microfiber towel. Apparently it works to remove pen ink and such, so it might work on this.

Damn Walter! Fu@#ed it up didn't ya! We can probably get it out, I have a few different things that we use for dye removal. We use Red 1 for red dyes with great results, if not, P.O.G or a heat transfer.. Worse case scenario we can re dye the panel and you would never know it happened.. If you want to come by the shop we can see if it will come out. Just give me a shout (214) 986-0954

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I tried goo gone as soon as I saw it and no use. I'm not so much worried about fading the leather as much as just getting all the pink out. It stands out like a sore thumb!!

Goo Gone won't work, but Goof Off might. Best bet is bring it in for Blacksheep to take a look at.

haha yes, I noticed it at work so we were pouring whatever we could find on it. I will be talking to Jason soon about fixing it!
Let me know how the verdict is!
To make you feel better, my lexus is350 has those seats with the little holes in it because its ventilated...i dropped a cheesecake on it lmao.
You might need to re-dye the leather.
