Not sure on your current cars, but for BMWs (335i and M5 at least) make sure that you pay the extra for OEM glass. Others whistle. As well see if your insurance has glass coverage (most do) and you'll likely get it replaced for free. If you don't have it, you should add it.

GG: Thx but both my Comp and Coll deductibles are set at $1K and the new windshield less than that so this one's out of my wallet. Crack repairs have always been free with Liberty my ins. provider.

TB and TriT: Thx to you two as well. As soon as I have a break I'll call up The Glass Dr.

Much Appreciate You Guys!

My glass policy is $0 deductible and even covers pitting from normal driving. Not sure what happened to yours though lol.

Call Brad at Glass Doctor. Tell him the forum directed you in his direction and he will take care of you. The secret code is "Freedom Ain't Free!"

FYI, I think that zero deductible glass repair counts as a claim and can influence your premium rates. That's one more way insurance companies have to double bung hole their customers. I may be wrong, that was just a story someone told me but given my experience with insurance companies, it made sense.

Who's your insurance provider if you don't mind me asking?

Does Glass Doctor do windshield replacement or just windshield repair?

I need someone up to the task of pulling my 964's windshield w/o breaking it.

Sorry for the late reply as I just saw this post. As Scott said I no longer work at Glass Doctor in Dallas but work for the Corporate office consulting for Glass Doctor's around the country.

The best person to talk to would be Jessie Brown in the Dallas location. He was my top sales associate and can take care of you. Here is the contact info:
