However my SL65 is still somewhat broken. It's been 2 months to the day now. I've been told every week for the last month that it will be fixed 'next week.' I was told Wed I'd have it before the weekend. I give up. :(
If I ever do get this heap of parts back it won't stay stock. I'm deciding between a simple ECU tune and VRPs 825HP package for the 65 series. Decisions, decisions...

It's crank HP.
However it was revealed yesterday that the dyno was done on a car running 100 octane with a custom exhaust setup that's not part of the kit. The exhaust probably isn't worth too much. I inquired about the 100 octane and the vendor says it was still running a 91 octane tune so the extra octane wouldn't have any effect. I don't exactly buy that and asked for HP numbers on 93 octane and they couldn't provide any. So I'll be holding off until I get some real dyno numbers on pump gas without extra mods. In the meantine I'll stick with a regular ECU tune. 680HP is still pretty good.

Wow, that is FAR too long for a service on the car. Maybe you should try Park Place, I have a friend that works there, might be able to help you out.

I had a few bad experiences at Park Place in Bedford, and would not go back.
I had much better experiences at Ewing in Plano.

There are horror stories for every dealer, some just seem to have more than others.
I've used Ewing and Park Place and I've been lucky so far.

Some documented problems I had with Park Place:

I ahven't worked at Park Place in a few years. I worked at the one in Dallas and from a service standpoint everything seemed fair. Schnitzer even made some appearances there to make sure the red carpet was rolled out for him at any given moment.
