Are these the guys that fixed your mirror project? Mine just exploded, and I don't like the idea of shelling out 600 bucks for something that BMW should cover under my warranty.

Welcome new sponsor!

Welcome new sponsor!

Yes! Glass Doctor is the official supplier for all of my mirrors. If your car is still under warranty BMW will replace the mirror. If not Brad can hook you up.

Please support Brad's business because:
A) He's a good guy
B) He needs to come over to the dark side (AMG)

Thank you.

Hmm...I do need a driver's side window for a Merkur XR4Ti. Is that unobtainium?

What Year is the Merkur?? As an initial search I am not finding anything from the years 1985-1989. I will check my vintage department and see if they have something for you. This may be one of those situations where a trip to the salvage yard if the best bet. Feel free to give me a shout at the office or send me a PM.

It's an 85, but they're all the same. Salvage yard might work, but I almost never see XR4Ti's at the JY. Thanks for checking on that for me!

Tim,

They looked to be all the same to me as well... I just wanted to make sure I had the correct year. I have a couple more contacts to try but it looks like we may be out of luck on this one. I did find a windshield but that wont help :-) I should know in the next couple of days.
