Looks like I'm going back out to Eagles Canyon this weekend. They have the track open to the public Saturday and I think it's $150 to register. However, I prefer going Sunday instead for the member day since the weather should be a little better and there will be less cars (last Sunday only three cars and three bikes showed up all day). You get a bunch more track time on a member day. The public track day usually has a bunch more cars but there is a full staff there including corner workers and also the grill is usually fired up for lunch. On member days, if the attendance is very low, they may not have corner works and the grill may not be open so you may want to pack a lunch.
If anyone is interested in going Sunday, please let me know as soon as possible and I can put you down as a guest. It's $150 plus tax. I will need to get your name and driving experience. If you haven't driven the track, I highly recommend sitting in the passenger seat for the first session so you can get familiarized with the layout. I'll probably get there a little later (around 9:30 or 10:00) b/c it's going to be pretty cold in the AM and the track is pretty slick the first session or two if it's cold. Should get up in the 60s by the afternoon. If anyone wants to go and I need to get there earlier, no problem. Let me know.
Oh yeah, you need to bring a helmet and wear jeans...that's it. Link to their site:
