He also wasn't driving consistently fast, a cop would have caught up to him from behind by then.

I saw the cop at the 21-23 second marker. It also looked like the GT was running along at about 120 mph. It does seem like the cop would have caught him but there was a lot of traffic.

That guy is a pansy... The moment of hesitation = Busted... It took him 1.5 mins after the the radar went off to finally hit the gas.. Weenie!

Agreed. He fails at being a good criminal. They would have giggled at his pansy ass in the back of squad car.

IF I was going to run, which I would (probably) :) never do.. I would have been GONE. Traffic or not.

I agree... IF you are going to run. You have to run for keeps....

...talking about the delay, the co-pilot called out the cop even before the radar/laser detector went off...

The guy driving the GT was a gear or two high the whole time, at one point it sounded like he was going to stall the car. All bs imo.

speedo definitely read north of 100mph but this guy was not in the frenzied panic that usually follows a run from the cops... I'm guessing :bandit:

I went on the superspeeders, or whatever it is, site and on the trailer they actually had a short clip of the gt passing a ton of cars on the shoulder trying to take an exit

I call total BS for two reasons.

First, if he was really running, those cars he is passing could be colorful blurs in a GT.

Second, even a GT can't outrun a radio!

The cop was probably eating a donut and didn't want to spill his coffee.

Last thing heard from the copilot was "we are F****D". Obviously i wasn't there but the guys seemed to be prepared for their joyride. Copilot was doing a good job of calling the cop out before the V1 picked it up. Couldn't make out the scanner part where the cops were hunting them down but towards the end the copilot stated cops 2 miles or so up ahead. In my opinion his hesitation was what got him, fast enough car to distance from any Police Interceptor. If your not out by the first or second off ramp your toast!
My slow poke e90 got me out of a Farmer's Branch sting during eastbound drive on 635. He was off and down past the 635/Luna intersection with the Ka going and I was the only guy at that section of hwy. I did notice the V1 range LEDs getting more solid. Kept looking in the mirrors and saw him hauling up the ramp by then I was around 125 or so. Exited off southbound 35 and immidiately exited Royal.
Whether or not he was taking my lunch money not 100% sure but wasn't going to find out either. You know when you have a good enough head start to even TRY to run. Needless to say hearbeats were probably around 125mph or so too. Cool video!:dontknow:

My advice on running from the po-po is it's a big no-no. I don't care how fast you're going - running will make it all much worse. If you decide to run Delta Bail Bonds phone number is advertised on the phones at Lew Sterrett.

I've seen the whole video....they exit the highway and drive about a half mile or so and pull into some parking lot at a shop or something. The end.
