I have been thinking about picking up one of these, but have never met an owner of one. Anyone have any input about this car? Good or Bad would be appreciated!!!

I would address the exhaust tips as my first mod.

I'm personally not a fan, very very ricer-ish and I've never seen anything but a douche driving one.

That's funny coming from a BMW guy in the most "ricer looking" BMW model. :hahaha:

Hey, let's stay above the belt, please......:burnout:
I'm actually glad that ricers are out there, gives us something to laugh at.

I'd say the most ricer looking BMW is the new M3 hands down.
That lexus looks really silly in person.. IMO. and I saw a lot more of them around Dallas than new M3's (if you like to stand out, they don't do that too well)

The new M3 is ricer....lmao
That IS-F sounds pretty nice in person. I'm not huge on the looks, though.

I honestly don't get how you could possibly think the new M3 looks ricer.

Okay "Ricer" is not the correct term, I apologize. It is more "boy racer" than previous M3's though, with the bigger bulges and vents, vented mirrors etc. I never said the new M3 didn't look absolutely fantastic, which it does. I love the way it looks; it's just styled more aggressively and in-your-face than previous M's. Come to think of it actually the E30 was more boy racer with that big wing. (i adore E30's) So it wasn't a knock on the E92, I'm sorry.
I did see about half a dozen of the ISF's when I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago, and I have even seen them in my area here in NM.. The blue is a nice color in person but the styling to me comes off like they were just trying to hard and come down to it.. it looks a bit silly to me.

"Boy racer" is a much better term. The good thing about the new M3's is that they're actually not pretending....unlike a lot of the other cars out there.

If you want one for a daily and would prefer reliability, 4 doors, and a true auto, it might be a good choice. The suspension is super super stiff for a Lexus. It's almost annoying at times. If it were my car, I would probably pick a M3 in coupe version or C63 in four door.
My dad bought one because he got tired of having to take his German cars in to the dealership for little problems all the time.

Lexus will always have great reliability and the serivce provided by the dealer puts BMW & MB to shame. That said, it is really a love it or hate it car. Drive one and see what you think. I'm not fond of the looks, yet think the IS in non F form is a gorgeous looking sedan. (I would have made the guy that designed the body changes commit hari kari.) I've head the 8 speed tranny is always searching for the right gear as well.

Thanks for the input. I like the looks, but like the M3 and CTS-V just as much.
