Portable Air inflator / compressor

For my bro-in-law's birthday, he would like a portable air inflator/compressor to have on hand for use with their vehicle tires, basketballs, pool toys, etc. I love the ///M Mobility kit that came with my roadster and I use it to put air in all my tires. Is there a similar aftermarket one that I could get for him since he doesn't own any BMWs (oh, the horror!! :))? He has this Black & Decker model on his wish list at the moment - anyone have any experience with this one? If you have any other recommendations in a similar price range for a good quality product, that would be great. TIA.

I know MikeCLKBlack has a nice portable unit that can run on it's own battery or plugged in. Not sure of the brand, but you might PM him.

I've got this one (http://www.chpower.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/chPrd3_10051_10001_91747_-1_10651_10784_), which (if memory serves correctly) I bought at Sears for about $50.
It's not as fast as a real compressor, but it's darned convenient with the built in battery.
It operates off the cig lighter in your car too. Oh wait, I guess that's a radar detector power supply today since so few people smoke anymore!
