The last Concours (Not Concourse as they advertise) they had was in 5-08, and only featured Italian (various), Porsche, and "Other Exotics". It was actually very well done and organized by Rob Lay, Prez of Ferrari Club. They served free bar-b-que to the entrants and was well attended. This year with all the classes should be a huge event. I've shown vintage German iron each year they've had the show (three yrs I think). Fingers crossed for good weather!

Because of the GT-R's heritage, the chassis code for the all-new version has been called CBA-R35,[9] or 'R35' for short, carrying on the naming trend from previous Skyline GT-R generations. The GT-R has also retained its Skyline predecessor's nickname Godzilla. It's a SKYLINE silly...!

Until it comes in a 4 door version with a crappy motor and a less aggressive styling I won't call it that...

I lived in Japan for 3 years, guys, the Nissan GT-R is a Skyline and always will be.
I don't know what the big deal is, in Japan they are proud of the Skyline Heritage and that the GT-R is a Skyline.

Obviosly, Infinity G35 and G37 coupes had been sold as Nissan SKYLINE GT in Japan ever since the G coupe was introduced. Believe it or not. EX35 is being sold as Nissan SKYLINE Crossover. The Skyline and the GT-R are separate vehicle segment. That was also mentioned by Nissan long time ago, too.

No kidding!! Just the sound is enough to make you wanna rub all over it. Don't know who brought theirs to the show but I've got a buddy who lives in Addison who has both a F40 AND F50 sitting in his garage. He brought the F50 to Cars & Coffee a few times ago. After that C & C I drove behind him on the Tollway heading home and was amused as I watched the parade of cars oogling it. Driving behind it and hearing the sounds of up and down shifting was music at its best.

The votes are in and I have decided NOT to paint my car like the EPSON Vette. There were 3,874 items that have priority on the spending list. Maybe I can knock out a few of those items in the next month or so and I will get closer to that paint job. My wife would be even more happy to be seen in my Vette.
