Hey guys new member here from Fort Worth. I go to TCU and I drive a convertible e46 that I bought myself, thank very much haha. Anyway just thought I'd introduce myself. Currently looking for an good alignment shop that won't charge up the $&@... Anyone know of a good one in fort worth?

There is a shop on Belknap, just northeast of downtown FW that is good at aligning sports cars. I can not think of the name at the moment.

I know that Firestone offers a lifetime alignment...or they did.
I don't know how good they are...I could do it for ya...at least I don't see managment having a cow over it...
I work at classic BMW, in Plano.

Lonestar Bavarian's new location beside Railhead now has an alignment rack. Assuming your e46 is off warranty, you should be taking it to them for all your work. My e86 is still under warranty but I take it to Lonestar for all the miscellaneous stuff (including my "aggressive" track alignment).

More 817! Awesome. My best friend just graduated from TCU, and it was my second choice school. What are you majoring in?

Rob, nice backhanded compliment :thumbsup2: Your back-up, in-case-I-don't-get-accepted school...smooth! :)

Lol yeah, I know. Actually, it was my first choice in "big" school. I wanted to go to a smaller school, and Westminster leaned more towards my degree goal.

My graduating class in college had about 240-250. My senior year was the first time the school recorded more than 1000 undergrads, lol. However, when I'm on TCU's campus, part of me wishes I went there instead.

Again, welcome!

So with all the 817 representatives, when are we going to get a meetup that isn't in Oklahoma like the rest of them seem to be? :)

Indeed. Getting meets started in Fort Worth has always been a small challange if you want to avoid the "lets do a ton of burnouts in the Starbucks Parking Lot" crowd. I've been working on something with a friend of mine for over a year now trying to get something together.

Maybe we could get some help/hand up from Autobahn, like Classic seems to do. I mean, when I worked there, they didn't have a dyno or anything, but they did have a few techs who were pretty big into performance stuff, and the owner had a sick E46 M that he raced. Plus, they also have the P-Car dealership and Jag.

Depending on how big we're talking, Lonestar Bavarian also has a decent parking lot and there's Railhead or FlyingFish next door to it for beer and/or food...
