QUOTE=HPF Chris;10626890]Now that we've broken records for power production several times with our HPF M3, and received more magazine coverage than we know what to do with, it's time to set some other records. This 2002 M3 is designed for road racing, high speeds, extreme acceleration, cornering and braking and also does a great job attracting women and turning them on. :) It has served it's purpose over and over again and it's time to move on to another project.
Whoever buys this car will have street domination in nearly every town. :)
Here's our for sale video on youtube. Enjoy.

It's a fair question. :dontknow:
Traction is a problem on the E46 chassis. HPF is going to build a new M3 specifically designed for the track and estimated to be a 8.xx second car. Complete with stripped interior, massive weight reduction, 9500 rpm rev limiter, nitrous, transmission (don't recall what Chris said it was), modded rear chassis with HUGE drag slicks & 1000+ rwhp.
Not my cup of tea but should be fun watch. :)

Not in this one but they're offering them as an option on their kits now. :)

yah, that's asking price. Somebody would really have to love the car to pay $100k. I think it looks ok but it's not something I'd do to my car.

well how is the traction on that stage 4 Scott? To my recollection is the boost not throttle dependent? or speed dependent?

What do you think that car will sell for?

Ya, they have boost controlled TC on that car, there is a post about it on the mboard someplace. I just dont like the Asuka(??) wide body, it totally destroys the lines of that car.

I think traction is still an issue as none of the Stage 3 or 4 cars have been able to beat my 60-130 time. Chris said he beat my time in his car by 0.10 sec but doesn't want to post it up. A lot of the cars are running speed based boost control but I'm not sure how much it helps. Personally I prefer controlling the throttle with my foot. If someone just put some 17 or 18's with drag radials on you would think they would kill my time. :dontknow:
btw, Jeff if you haven't been to the new location hope to see you soon. Are you a daddy yet?
