OK, some people might say this is a silly tip, but it is worth noting.

If you are going to do any detailing on your car, make sure you remove all jewelry before you start.

There is nothing worse than cleaning up you car and accidentally putting a scratch or scrape in it with your ring, watch, bracelet, etc. A little preventative care goes a long way, so make sure you remove anything that can put a scratch in the car before working on it. (This includes belts)

I personally remove all jewelry and wear sweats or gym shorts and a T-shirt when working on the car.:)

I don't know Mike, the girl's necklace in your avatar is swinging dangerously close to the hood.. that is your car, right?

Looks like something kicked up from the street. Either from the car in front of you or just dirty wet strret grime.

I'd echo and include belts with metallic buckles, jeans (metallic button and rivets), etc.

Hmm, I don't think it's from someone in front of him. If so, his hoses should've gotten dirty as well. :dontknow:

Well, it could be the residue left from burning rice. lol, I thought that was funny. :D
