One of my V1 mirror customers wanted to install the on/off/mute switch inside his ashtray, which requires desoldering the switch from the remote audio adapter and building a custom wiring harness. A pita. Turned out well.

Can you do a standard V1 hardwire? I sold my old car that had all the wiring harnesses, so I am stuck with a cigarette lighter/window mount solution. I'd like it to be back up top! lol

Yeah the hardwire is pretty simple. Just need to locate a power source.
