Just got my car back from the guys at Autoscope, they did another wonderful install of my Dinan 3.62 differential. First impressions...WOW! Just changing the final drive has really transformed the car. Acceleration is vastly improved. The downsides, of course, are the gears fly by very quickly now, fuel economy is shot (like I ever cared anyway), and the lower gears don't have much traction...need some wider tires. Can't wait to get it broken in properly and get some track time! :burnout: I'll write more as I break it in, but for now I'm going to go rest, feeling sick. :(

How different did the Dinan diff look from the stock one?

Not much to the naked eye. It's essentially the same everything except the gears inside the core.

Ok next question, does Dinan have a core charge? If not, what are you doing with the stock diff? I might see about trying to find some gears to swap into it, if it's available and then get mine switched as well, then pass mine on. Let me know.

Dinan has a core charge if you don't buy from an authorized Dinan dealer. I didn't pay one because I bought from Autoscope, a Dinan dealer. They're sending my diff back to California tomorrow morning.

I got a chance to get out and drive for a while tonight, it performs beautifully. Acceleration is way up and traction is way down. :burnout::D I haven't been getting on it too hard, but I'm very impressed so far.

Damn I wish I would have acted quicker I could have gotten a set of gears to throw in it and swapped mine out. That is if it's even possible to do. How much do they give you on the core exchange?
