I just got this work done yesterday. Joe's Muffler in Addison did the work. Removed the resonator in installed 3" SS pipes.

How much louder is that than stock in your opinion? Just inquiring because I have some mufflers-less catbacks on my LS1 but, there are still resonators. Nice car too:)

Thanks Alex. I'd say twice as loud as stock. It has a deeper rumble now. My friend just bought a new Pontiac G8 GT and he is gonna take his resonator off and install an Xpipe.

Interesting, makes me consider removing my resonators on my catback. Those G8s sound pretty mean sounding from the factory. But as your car as well as mine goes, they are muffled beyond beliefe so we have to open them up.

Let them breathe Alex! You should definitely look into removing yours. She will roar!

People are amazed at how loud it is without mufflers. I'll look into removing those resonators also. Do you know of a good mandrel bender in the area?

Sorry no, but Adam at Autoscope might know someone.

I wonder how it would sound without mufflers too.
