Well... The Impala's LT1 gave up the ghost yesterday... So I'm stuffing a 383 stroker in it.. Specs are as follows: 383 forged LT1 stroker w/ 11.0/1 compression, stage 2 aluminum 643 heads w/ rocker rollers and 5 angle valve job, comp 503 cam, 1 5/8 long tube headers, 3,200 Phoenix stall converter and 3.73 posi rear end... This setup is pulling off high 11's in the 1/4 at 118mph... It will be a stop light terror... Who wants some?

The whistling taxi... That would be hilarious! I've already gone waaaay overboard on this deal.. Good thing I don't have a wife to talk me back to my senses... None the less, this thing should be a lot of fun with 450hp/500tq

From a stoplight you might be surprised.. On the hwy or from a roll, I'm guessing you got me covered.. It's not as heavy as you think! 4,000lbs stock and it will be losing about 200lbs by the time it is finished:D

I tried to keep it as quiet as possible.. It still sounds like a nascar with a bannana in the tailpipe. Still trying to get it on the dyno to do the final tuning on it.. It is definitely a lot of fun though!
