Video cuts out just as I punch it, so it didn't get me bouncing it off the limiter. The car had been running on and off for the past fifteen minutes, so its all good.

Will have to watch when I get home. Can't have the volume up too loud at work.

Its not super great. The camera cut out after 16 seconds, and I didn't want to start 'er up and pound right on the redline. But yea, it is an SS. I'm gonna bring a better camara to work on Monday and see if I can get a better vid.

No, but you all may see one rolling around the Metroplex. We have a ELTFAM (everyone look the fck at me) 2SS that we are using for advertising/marketing. DFW is gonna have a HUGE launch for the new one, and the marketing guys have been taking her out for lunch and just driving all week long. I was trying to get it for the day...then I'd sure as hell bring it out to a meet.

Area sales manager. Basically, I sell the cars to the dealerships to sell to you. I'm also the dealerships' contact to the General. Any little problems they have, or SNAFUs, explaining incentives, etc., I handle.

Its sounds nicer than it really is, lol. I get to drive some of the nice cars every now and then, but I don't get the company car, no GMS if I want to buy a car, or any of that. The worst part about it is I work contract, and they have hinted that after the first big round of lay offs, contract comes next. But I do get to drive the cool cars every so often. We have the Camaro ride and drive coming up, and we get free tickets to GM sponsored events in the area.
The one thing I can't complain about is that the job is easy. Its almost a pure response based job, so if all my dealers are doing what they are supposed to be doing and moving cars like they should, its kick back and chill. The only issue is, the 48 dealers that are in my area are all in Nebraska and Kansas, so it makes building a relationship with them difficult. However, one of my guys is one of a handful of Callaway Corvette dealers in the nation:beer: He says if I go out there, he'll let me take one out for a spin.
