HPF's turbo kit moves the air filter/intake to the opposite side of the engine bay. The custom air intake (designed to be used with a Cold Flow Front Grill™) redirects cold air to the air filter. Also pictured is the new carbon fiber engine cover.

HPF's prior intake tube, which leads from the air filter to the turbo inlet, worked fine for stages 1,2 and 2.5, but for stage 3 and 4 the volume of the pipe was constricting air flow and limiting the amount of power the car could make. There's just not much room to work with as you have to weave around the frame rail, a/c lines, exhaust manifold, coolant tank, etc. The new part is designed to take advantage of every possible nook and cranny to increase volume enough to let the motor breathe. HPF's Stage 4 car is now making in excess of 900 rwhp.
