I'm thinking about getting rid of my 612 and getting a new Scuderia before the my 458 Italia gets in at the end of the year..
What do you think?

I like the way you think! Not sure Rick has enough garage space to do that.

The Scud is sweet and would be a nice change of pace from the 612.

Don't forget the Italia.. afaik there's room for two Ferraris, assuming the bikes were sold. :dontknow:

Picked up the car tonite... all I can say is OMFG. Unreal. I was cruising through traffic, since it was around 5:30.. took me about 10 minutes before I could get on the gas.. turned on to a side street, hammered it and I thought I was going to piss myself. Once the exhaust valves open at around 4k, bypassing the muffler, this car is so insanely loud, I'm shocked it's street legal. I've heard it was louder than the actual Ferrari Challenge race cars and I'm hear to tell you, it's true. The acceleration, for a naturally aspirated car, is on another planet. Seems faster than the 599 or any other NA car I have owned. I couldn't help but have the biggest sh*t eating grin all the way home!
I will be out of town this weekend, so you guys will have to wait until the 23rd to see it ;) I will post some more pix tomorrow.

Remember, I've had one. They are great, but it is an art car. Yeah, they perform awful good, but there isn't one on the road that runs with yours. Except for the 7 figure cars. For the time I owned the car, I always wanted back the turbo. It was just faster. No, it didn't get near the attention, but I could care less about that. So, I traded it in for a GT2. With all that preaching I just did, save your money and get one if just for a while.

If weather is good, I might. I was planning to go to the ranch in Oklahoma, but my wife and kids might complain. If so, I would get there about 8 or earlier to avoid too many people, hang around a bit, and then go back by Boardwalk and say hello to Marsh. He has been on my case to stop by and be friendly.

Drove a Ferrari California and a 599 on Friday. That 599 might run with some turbo P-Cars. Man it was an animal. The California was a pleasure to drive, sounded good and was comfortable. The transmission was a lot like my old E92 M3. With the 458 coming out and supposed to have the same or very similar transmission that car will be smokin'.

From what I've been told the 599, Enzo and Scud are all supposed to get around Fiorano about the same time. The 458 is supposed to be just a bit faster.

Cool! Did you use Edmunds.com True-Market-Value (TMV) information to negotiate with the dealer and at least get some Ferrari floor mats thrown in for free :-)
