I'd like to thank Steve Fordham, aka SAFE4NOW and General Manager of Autoscope for supporting the DFWAC as a sponsor. I know many here are already familiar with Steve and Autoscope. I've always gone to the Plano location as it's about 3 minutes from my office and had never been to the newer Park Cities facility. Steve was kind enough to invite me down for a full tour this afternoon... guys if you've never been to this place before it is unbelievable. I saw state of the art equipment I never knew existed. I'd go on but you really have to see this place up close and in person to appreciate it. We will work on a group event at the facility in the near future.

Thanks again to Steve and please help support those that support the club. :thumbsup2:

I attended a Steve Dinan visit/presentation at Autoscope Park Cities in the fall. It is incredible. Steve Dinan said that it is the finest shop that he's seen.

Steve and AutoScope are both top notch and are a valuable component of the exotic and performance car world in the metroplex. Steve runs a great ship and no one is more accomodating, talented, and friendly. Not to mention his lovely wife, Lily, who runs the parts business at AutoScope/Park Cities.:thumbsup2:

All it took was one visit with Nerces to gain our business for life. World-class service and shop, and I wouldn't take the BMW anywhere else.

Thank you all for having us.

After attending a few events, the talking with several members at C&C and previous SMD's, I realized that our sponsorship money would be better spent helping a local forum. Scott and alot of the Senior members here really seem to understand what goes into the cars we drive. You all understand that no shop is perfect, but with open communication, most concerns can be addressed with a positive outcome.

While we are certainly not the least expensive shop in town, but we do offer the very best in value for your dollar. BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, Audi, even Lamborghini, I price myself against the dealership on a weekly basis, just to make sure we are offering fair market value.

I am still a forum member first, a sponsor second, so do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything I may do to help. I am more than happy to help you find the parts you need, plan a Sunday Morning Drive, Movie Night, Dyno Day, after work GTG at Babe's for dinner, etc....

Thank you again, for having us!

I went to Autoscope one time after a DFWAC meet with a bunch of the group members. I believe it was close to when they opened. The facility is definitely a mechanic's wet dream. Can't wait for another day to hang out there with fellow enthusiasts.

+1 to Steve and the Autoscope team! I heard that today was DFWAC day. Kelly was there, Fubar was there and I managed to pick up the C63 after a long header install. Seriously though, I can't say enough good things about Steve and the team there. I dropped my car off Monday afternoon to have the ECU pulled and FedEx'd to the tuner while Steve and his team installed the long tube headers on Tuesday, figuring that the ECU would be back Wednesday AM, installed back in the car and I would be leaving twin patches of tire in the Autoscope driveway that afternoon. Well, things didn't go according to plan, and Wednesday morning turned into Wedenesday afternoon, then Thursday noon and finally Thursday at 4:00 PM. Well I might have been impatient and anxious to get my car back, but when I showed up at 3:30 PM today, Steve greeted me and told me that the final touches were being done and a few minutes later my car was pulled into into the service drive and Steve suggested I take it for a spin to check it out. I grabbed the key and took off down Denton Dr. The grin on my face went from ear to ear when I heard the car start to sing at about 4K rpm. :D I got back to Autoscope and was smiling non-stop. Despite several seized exhaust studs and the need to weld, rather than clamp part of the system, Steve never even asked me for more $ that he originally quoted me to do the install. He asked me what $ amount we had discussed and I said it was $x, but I know you needed to do some welding, etc so...He just looked at me and said "Your bill is $x, OK?" I was like OK... I am loving the newfound power and more aggressive sound, and can honestly say that it is experiences like this that have kept me an Autoscope customer for the past 13 years and will keep me a customer for the next 13+.

Sorry for the long ramble, but Steve and crew earned it.:thumbsup2:

I have been looking for some place (other than the dealership) to install my oil cooler when it arrives. The White Rock location is only a few minutes from me so I was wondering -- do you guys do much work on Nissans? It's just an oil cooler on a Nismo 370z, so I think it should be fairly straight-forward.

It's in McKinney, which might be a bit far for you, but one of the techs used to work at an Infiniti dealer and is quite familiar with the VQ motors.

Also try Jotech Motorsports. They know Nissans better than Nissan. :) Ask for Tony.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have ordered the cooler and it should be here next week. I had also considered going to the dealership (I ordered the Nismo kit since it's the only one that will fit a Nismo 370 without modification), but am not sure what I'm going to do yet.
