Thats a real come to Jesus moment right there. Especially as it looks like he went airborne right before the spin. Is that a Porsche (looks like the Porsche logo on the wheel)?

He was definitely airborne. I've gone airborne there as well and most drivers give the brakes a tap prior to the crest to avoid going airborne because it unsettles the car so damn much with the immediate right sweeper. He is lucky--that's one a very few places you can go off and not hit something.
I'll be back there in three weeks! I can't wait!

I like how he ended up pointing in the right direction, then got right back on it.

Doode... Come and drive it for the cost of an airplane ticket and 400 Euro (for a rental track car). It would be worth it to you 'foreigners'. Give me a heads up, and we could plan a dfwautoclub event that could be unforgettable!

OH NO!!! I saw that car in person at the Nordschleife the day before it set the record. What a shame. I hope they repair it OK.
