Word to the Wise, carry a fire extinguisher, those exhaust have been know to cause fires.
A Viper at the track (owners name Kevin) caught fire, after coming out of a session, while the owner went to the restroom.
Lucky for him, I saw it and had a little extinguisher and took care of it.
He later found out, that few Vipers had the same problem.

RAC wheels are crazy, forged 19's just at 20 pounds. CRAZY but I don't want to wait 6+ months to get wheels heh.
River-Side Trafficstar STM Limited Editions on my car when I got it, they are a rare'ish JDM brand that makes custom forged three piece wheels for BMW/Merc in Japan. The roads in Savannah ate them after about six months of driving, and finding replacement barrels for them is nearly impossible. So now I have Linea Corse L22's, cheepo BBS LMreps. Next wheels will be HRE 890r's(flush fit, no lip) or HRE P40, Advan RS's, BBS CH-R, or some very, very aggressive fitment BBS LMs.

Those are some sweet looking wheels Peter...Flat Black powdercoat would look nice on the benz :D I really want to grab some offsets to run 255 in the front and 285 out back...The car feels undertired a LOT...
The big thing about the carbon hoops isn't so much that they weigh a lot less, it's about where the mass it located and how that translates to the RWHP gains. A lot less actual rotating mass, since most of the weight is in the hub not the hoop...Just eliminating some more drivetrain loss...

I've been waiting for these for several months. Bokke is getting them also (but in a different finish). They are 19X9 ET22 & 19X10 ET22, App. 20 & 21 lbs., meet JWL and VIA specifications, and are designed to fit the E9X M3 specifically.
The wheels (designed by Ralph Sheppard) are 8,000 ton forgings made by Taneisha in Japan who also makes Dinan, Neez and Champion wheels. 50 sets have been made, and that will likely be it.

Approximately 75 sets have been made, and that will likely be it.

No drop coming. Barely clears the driveway as is.
Don't bother with these. Better pics below.

Back in KS I used to have 3 sets for each car (e36 = summer, winter, track; e39 = summer, winter, touring; KS winter was very icy, I always had Blizzaks and never got stuck when SUV's were struggling getting up the hill), and when I had the e46, at one point I had up to 7 sets of wheels... people walked in my garage they thought I was looney... Guess I'm in a way, a shoe-fetish... LOL
Anyways, because I'm fat, I'm all about weight reductions when it comes to rims.... that said, I have BBS RKs for my e39 (18 lbs each); (yes, the car sits a little lower than usual... decided to do the entire suspension overhaul when I was replacing the control arms & tie-rods, got sick & tired of the uninspiringly soft factory set up... so ended up dropping in Bilstein sport struts/shocks + H&R sport springs, might as well...)

Kosei K1s for my e36 (16 lbs each)... In the sig was the SSR GT3, sold to another CCA member, I miss those rims.

Nothing wrong with stock ride height on a 1 series IMO.
