Curious how many here have a car lift in their garage? What brand / type do you own and what did you pay?

I would also love to know as well as if they fit in a standard garage height garage.

Great thread Scott! :)

Gemini Lifts are based in Ft. Worth. They have a variety of 2 and 4 post lifts. They have a 2 post rated at 9k lbs that only needs 10' of ceiling, for $1,695 + installation. They also have a single post, which is great for car storage, but you really need a 12' ceiling to park a SUV underneath it.
I guess it comes down to whether you want a lift for parking or wrenching on your car. If you have a 11-12' ceiling, you can accomplish both.

I have a Gemini lift as well.. 4 post, rated for 7000 lbs.. the delivered and installed.. total cost was 3k. If you get one, I recommend installing floor anchors.. they slide pretty easy if you aren't careful.

Wow, I always thought these things were more expensive, like $5-7k. Now you've really got me thinking.

I have the Gemini Lift. Installed it was around $3000. I did have to have the door and motor raised. The cost on the door modification was around $600.:thumbsup2:
