Just seeing if anyone has an extra one laying around that they don't really use. I'm too cheap to buy a new one and the ones on craigslist are old revisions. lol. Thanks guys.

I thought V1s could be sent in and brought up to the latest specs for a fee less than buying a new unit.

It's $150 for a used 1.7 to upgrade it to current version is $185. Just about $20ish short of buying a new one so it's still not worth it. lol.

I would just buy a new one, the ones on ebay sell for almost what they cost new.

Depends.. is this for your CTSV? I haven't installed one yet in a V but it's usually not hard to find a place to hide it. It just can't have any metal obstructing it. I always try the headliner first, if there isn't room one of the rear headrests will probably work. I just finished Brad's mirror for his Z06 and we're going to install it this weekend.

I need this "option" in my E39 M5. I'll get with you Scott when I get a V1 in hand myself. Maybe you can give me a tutorial on the install. This is great for interstate travel.

Valentine is one of the few companies that does not sell through any kind of dealers or resellers and will not discount for volume. I regularly buy parts in bulk and pay the same as someone that purchases one item.
