This was shot w/ a Canon 40D and Tamron 10-24mm lens mounted to my custom automotive rig.

What exposure length did you use? Background isn't very blurred, but the wheels are.

Car only traveled about 2 feet for these captures. Will do longer shutter speeds when I get an ND filter.

Ya, we were trying for 8-9 feet during a 1.5-2 sec exposure. That lets you get almost clear wheels so you can see the brakes, and a nicely blurred background and foreground. Without a filter you will just get blown out shots though. Nice work without one to even get that far, having more motion blur in the background makes hiding the rig in post easier too. What rig do you use? Did you build your own?

Like this one. Driving the car as slow as it would move, at 1.8sec. Web was driving, I was clicking! haha.

Built my own suction cup rig, but I think I'll eventually build an under car setup as well to add to the arsenal.
