I have no idea how it got there

The car is at Jotech right now, I can't wait to hear it on the dyno!

I don't have my car back yet but so far I am very impressed. I'm just doing some lowly bolt-ons and Kenny really took the time to show me all their projects and walk me through the facility. First class operation!

Also I just got the call, with the new parts installed I gained 24hp, for an pavement shattering 249rwhp

I'm going over there tomorrow morning to pick the car up and run it on the dyno with the nitrous :D

EDIT: I should also point out that I called them yesterday afternoon and my car is already done!

Kenny's the man.

Got the car back, runs and sounds great! Kenny took the time to walk me through all the dyno results as well as analyze my A/F on the nitrous. I ended up doing 251rwhp after the mods and 300rwhp with the nitrous (50hp jet).

I could not recommend Jotech more, their shop was impecable and all the employees were very friendly and very knowledgeable :thumbsup2:

Only problem is now I want to go back

I got a flyer, are you going? Right now I'm trying to get my car to pass the smog test. So I'm stuck in the garage until I get legal. I failed my first run, but the car had been off for 20min by the time he ran it and I just noticed he ran the 15mph test in second gear and the 25mph test in 3rd. I'm going to schedule a time to pull it in after some high speed highway runs and make sure they use the right gears.

Did some 60-??mph runs in third on George Bush, pulled in and passed the smog without any issues. I'm now an official Texan with the front tag and all, I got the SOS Stealth Front Plate so I can slide the front plate under the bumper if I want.

Might as well turn this into a build thread...

Bilstein's came in today, Eibach pro kit springs should be in on wednesday, Type-R sway bars are on order.

New struts should firm up my 20 year old struts and the springs are good for 1 inch which will get rid of the 4x4 look with aftermarket wheels.

If you need any help, I'm next door now for a while or just take it back to Kenny.

I'm going to do this one myself to justify the jack stands I bought. I have the spring compressors and hand tools (no air tools), but its been about 7 years since I did this on my MR2 so it should be fun. Stop by if you get bored tonight, I'll buy the beer.

Build progress update:

So far I have 3 of the 4 coil-over assemblies installed with the new struts and springs, I pulled the 4th one and the allen key hole on the end of the strut is stripped out so I called it a night. I'm going to grab some vice grips at the store and then try again after work. If that doesn't work it's going to be a lot of grinding. Fortunately I am replacing the stock struts so I don't have to worry about messing up the strut shaft.

Finished. All for struts and springs are on the car, now I just need to call RUF to schedule an alignment. The car is lowered 1.2in and it is amazing how much better struts from this century feel.

Looking good.

The guy that used to do all of my embroidery work for my business is really into the NSX's. The last time I was there he had 4 in his warehouse. Those and his prize possession that he keeps under wraps. A very clean '75 or '76 AMC Pacer. :bandit:

Beautiful car, I saw one just like that yesterday in my neighborhood. Any chance you were in Frisco?

Thanks! I wonder if he is on the local NSX message board? We have a few people in DFW but we don't actually ever meet up :hmmmm2:

Thank you. You should hear less obscenities coming from my garage now :D

Thanks! I did a shake down run yesterday evening around the 121 / tollway area and spring creek. I've never seen another black one in DFW but I don't think it was me.

His name is Dennis (don't recall the last name) and he owns Panda Embroidery in Grapevine. I first met him when TMS was being built and I used him for some of the TMS logos on our stuff. I saw him at C&C last month but didn't say anything to him.

Cool, if one of his cars is red w/ grey volk wheels he is a really nice guy (http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125502&highlight=Dennis)! I'm going to make next months cars and coffee to hopefully meet everyone and maybe see another NSX or two :thumbsup2:

That's something Dennis would do but I don't know if that post is actually referring to him or not. I don't remember the colors of his cars but I'm pretty sure he does have a black one, or did.

On the link below, click the 'Contact Us' and he is sitting on the bumper of the fire truck.

2pm appointment at Autoscope Plano for an alignment today, and I should be ready to go!

I went to Autoscope in Plano, but the NSX didn't fit on the alignment rack at that location so they squeezed me in at their Denton Rd location. Great work from Autoscope getting the alignment perfect and great customer service! The car tracks much better now :thumbsup2:
