New parts for the scud!

Got some new headers and cats from Fabspeed.com on the way for the Scud!

Steve @ Autoscope is gonna help out with the install and tuning... so be on the lookout for some dyno sheets ;)

Well, the boys at Fabspeed left out two little important caps that cover an option sensor spot on the headers.. they are sending overnight for Saturday morning delivery.. everything else is installed and looks amazing!

Steve and the boys at Autoscope did a tremendous job and I am very impressed with their facilities by love field!

Headers are back off again, going back on with passenger side header now.

Rick has been super patient with us and the over all process.

ECU's were installed this morning, Rick needs to drive the car, get some miles on it before we put it back on the Dyno.

You guys will be the very first to know ( after Rick that is ) that it's ready.

All I can say is that I was behind the Scud when they did a dyno run today. It was amazing! I honestly could feel my body vibrating. It was weird yet really cool at the same time.

Ya, it was pretty unreal during those dyno pulls.. it felt like the building was going to explode ;)

We did take a walk over to the Corvette World @ Dream Garage and they have a 66 Vette body on a 2004 C5 frame/Engine.. all I can say is WOW that was one cool car! Brian, you should post some pix of that car!

The build quality seems fine.. good workmanship and it sounds amazing.. however, I'm not seeing the gains they claim. We are still sorting out the tuning.. but if it doesn't make what they are claiming, it's coming off and I may go with the new Capristo kit:

We could never get the proper RPM signals captured from the Scud during the mustang runs, so the data isn't reliable and wouldn't be a good comparison.

BUT, while this video was not filmed in Addison, it wasn't filmed in Guadalajara, Mexico either... there are tunnels like that in Guadalajara, granted, but none of them have signs written in English (the yellow bridge sign when the car enters the tunnel or the top speed of 35, when it exits it are in plain English and obviously in MPH, and not in "Kilometros por Hora")...

also the fact that there were no fast-food street vendor crossing the street or selling stuff inside the tunnel or "transitos" waiting for him outside for a "mordida" were a straight giveaway...

been there, done that...especially in my beautiful Mexico...
