help me figure out what finish these HRE have!!!

they are uber sexy and im not feeling the regular boring silver on my C20s so im going to have them redone in this finish, but i dont have enough close up pics for my paint shop or what type of texture it is. if someone can help me out with more pics and exact type of texture/color id appreciate it.

not straight matte, ive seen them in person before and they are like a matte pearl. but im loking for color code, i left the guys at hre a voicemail.

The first pic is gunmetal. The second pic is Anthracite (gunmetal sprayed with gloss clear). The wheels are RAC RG63's if you are curious.

but wouldnt you agree that the HRE have some sparkle/glitter in the finish? i know for a fact they are not a smooth matte finish. i dont know what that style of finish is called. smartass above told us what we already know, that its matte, but the color and finish isnt a simple matte.

Here's another picture that I found of the gunmetal. The RAC's are made by Taneisha who also make Dinan and Champion wheels (among others). It's a powder coat finish. Unfortunately there aren't any of these wheels in the metroplex to look at. From the pictures, the finish looks a lot like the HRE's. HRE is pretty tight with detail info about their wheels. I'll be a little surprised if they give you the paint spec. Peter@wheelexperts might be your best bet for info.

I love RAC Monolites. I also like the Alloy Technic lightweight wheels.

Raza, I believe this color is a Bedazzled Matte but gunmetal looks good on the other wheels shown.

My guess would be Anthracite or Hyperblack??

The color looks pretty close to mine, I call it textured gunmetal, HRE doesn't show this color anywhere but they will do it, on the black p40's they call it textured or gloss and the textured looks similar...

Its hard to catch the 'sparkle' the DallasM5 was talking about in a pic, but they do have that and its part of HRE's textured look (you can see it on their black textured as well)

It is indeed the textured gunmetal. HRE won't give you any codes, you'll have the send the wheels back to them.

They won't even let their dealers take the wheels apart, much less refinish them....

Unfortunately there aren't any of these wheels in the metroplex to look at.

Cal....my RAC's are gunmetal, and will post some pixs tomorrow!:D
