Unfortunately I left my car uncovered in the garage yesterday afternoon. It was dirty and I wanted to wash it before I put the cover back on. Who would have ever guessed that I would get my card ultra scratched in my own garage!

Turns out that our new puppies, boxer/shepherd mix (4 months old), had a block party on my convertible. I now have lots of scratches (many minor some major) on my front bumper, fenders, hood and trunk lid. What is the best products to remove these scratches?

For the heavier scratches, I am thinking of using Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #105 Ultra Cut Compound (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-mirror-glaze-105-ultra-cut-compound.html) and for the finer scratches I am thinking of using Menzerna Super Finish (Nano) PO 106 (http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-nano-polish-po-106-fa-finishing-polish.html). Then I will finish it off with some final polish and use Pinnacle Liquid SouveranT Car Wax (http://www.autogeek.net/pinliqsouvwa.html)

Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated. The front end was painted just a little over a month ago! :bawling:

The bumpers are worse than they look and the rest of the scratches are like the ones in the hood picture.

For the heavier scratches I would use Menzerna SIP and an orange pad. If it works on your test area...then finish with 106FA and a white pad. Follow with the wax of your choice.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the mishap.

M105 is good and should be able to correct the more severe scratches. I would use it with w yellow pad or if you have it, a blue Lake Country Hydrotech pad. (This pad cuts like yellow, but finishes better than orange and is great with the M105.) The previously recommended Menzerna SIP would be a good choice for the less severe ones. I would use one or both of those for the correction work and then use the Super Finish to restore the gloss and clarity to the paint before applying the liquid Souverain you mentioned.
