Local Machine Shop

I'm pulling the head on my E36 to do some work on it. I want to take it to get machined and pressure checked while I have it off. Does anyone know of a local machine shop that does this? I've read I can get it checked for as low as $200 as oppose to the rumored $500 so I'm looking for recommendations from you guys.

not local for you per say, but automotive machine and supply is probably one of the best in the area. google them, they are in ft worth, ask for steve.
