I was told yesterday it was imperative I come join this forum, so here I am. With the number of M3/M5 drivers at the meet, you've probably seen me on M3F or M5B, mmenefee and themikem respectively. (one of these days I'll get all the usernames aligned...) I'm on BFC as well, but really only post in the for sale section. It was good meeting several of you. I'll try to make it out to future meets as time allows.

Now, the part you probably care about a lot more. To introduce my cars:

'95 M3, Hellrot, ~100k miles
Recently rebuilt to stock specs. I have a fairly extensive project I'm preparing for this car.

Currently working on converting over to full eurospec parts. Mods so far:
- Factory BT
- Euro TV Module
- Mk IV Nav & updated BM53
- Sirius
- StealthOne & V1
- Euro Climate Comfort windshield
- Euro headlights

M5 will be getting performance mods (intake/supersprint/etc.) once the M3 project is done. Considering the ESS kit as well.

'98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited
Used for hauling parts and towing the ///M cars. :) Suspension, drivetrain, and a couple performance mods.

So there you have it. See you around. :hello:

Awesome cars, I love the E36 M3! We have another member with the same hellrot Red. Is that the official name of the color? lol

Thanks. Yup, that's the name. Says so right on the color sticker on the shock tower. It literally translates to "bright red". Personally, I like the German name better.

And, yes, I met the other member, Karen (? I'm terrible with names...), on Saturday. Hers is the only other hellrot car I've ever seen in person, so it's kind of odd we ended up in the same city. I almost brought the M3 out on Saturday, but opted for the M5 instead, just because it was sitting in the driveway already. This oversight shall be rectified on the upcoming weekend. :thumbsup2:

Referring to an E39 M5 as a victim of oversight is just plain wrong.

Yeah, but in a "drank one too many pints of Guinness" sort of way.

Ohhhh, good looking E36! And you are right, the German names always sound better. Hellrot is one of my favorite colors on the E36.

You are correct, her name is Karen. You're better with names than you thought. :)
