So I have no idea how many of these are coming around here, but I've already seen a white one with hard tags and a black one at PP with 30 day tags. I'd really wanted to look at one there, but I guess they are getting snatched up quick...

I saw a blue one off of Lovers the other day and it looked pretty good. I also saw an SLS in the wild.

I've always thought the Boxter was a bit of a chic car, but this one looked pretty good. No clue on performance though.

Meh, it's like a 12.4-12.8 1/4 depending on whether you get the 6 speed or PDK...It's supposed to amazing on track though...

The review I read said it was the best track car of the Porsche stable (other than the GT3 RS and GT2 RS). They said it handled better than the Cayman S, which is saying something! I think one of these with the TPC turbo kit would be an animal on the track!
With the top up...the car loses all it's sex appeal.

Problem: With the top up...the car loses all it's sex appeal.
Solution: Always drive with the top down! :D

Car looks good w/ the top down.. Only way I would EVER drive on is if it had at least 500hp.. and it was 30k..

My wife is getting a white one in about 2 weeks. I will PM you when it comes in town. It will be PDK with the paddles on the wheel. Pretty loaded up car. Hers will never have the top on the car. You are welcome to go to PP and see the car when it shows up. On the boat since 5/25

White rules on this car...Now just get the turbo kit on it before she takes delivery and you're set!:D
BTW...At the rate you change cars, look me up in 3 months when you're ready to part with this bad boy!

Good point. I didn't really want the Pana Turbo. Just too much. It is an awesome car, but I want to get out while the getting out is good. Cars are still bringing close to sticker. She wanted a fun car for just her. I think this is it. It is also less cost, which I love. I don't think value will fall on this car either. Plus, she has a Yellow Cayenne Turbo coming in October. Those 2 together aren't much more than the Pana Turbo.

But it was mostly bearable under the trees (better than C&C yesterday). Plus, the lobby of the lodge provided relief as it was very well air conditioned. There were several very nice cars and a couple of unusual ones. I'll post a few pics after a bit (need to shower and rest a while).
Chuck's GT3 RS (Norm's demo car) won best German Car (built after 1980).

So the radio and A/C on that car are considered "options" correct?
Seems like the one I read about didnt have a/c, radio etc.

Yes, the lowest weight they show on these is with radio and A/C deleted and with PCCB brakes. Probably with the 6 speed too, instead of PDK...They may be "no cost options" I can't remember what I read about that...

Radio is no cost, I think A/C does cost some $ and PDK is a definite pay for it option. I would get the radio, skip the A/C and get the PDK.

OH yeah, I meant just the radio and A/C for possibly no cost...I think PCCB is still around 7-8K...hhmmm I'll take the AC and skip the radio so I can be "that" guy with no radio...LOL

Ya that top... it's even more like a tent than I thought. You know the designers were done with the car, then someone in marketing was like... "So ya, the dumb Americans are going to want a top, go figure that one out."

It looks kinda of cheap and goofy, but I know they designed it to weigh next to nothing when stowing it in the boot...Form followed function for sure...Besides who really likes driving performance cars in the rain, wheres the fun in that...

Top's fine given the focus of the car. It's a good thing that there is the video showing how to put it up and take it down. You'd certainly get very wet by the time you got it up if you got caught in a shower.
