Soap: Optimum No Rinse w/ two bucket method, washing one panel at a time
Wash Pad: Microfiber chenille wash mitts from Target, w/ the little fingers like this (http://juicycarcare.com/zencart/images/wash_mitt.jpg).
Drying towels: Microfiber towels from Wal-Mart, drying one panel at a time.

1.Soap - Depending upon how dirty the car is, I will use a foam cannon and let the car soak for a few minutes. I use DP Extreme Foaming Soap in the cannon and it my soap bucket. Two bucket method! http://www.autogeek.net/autogeek-foam-cannon-hp.html
2.Wash pad - I have microfiber mitts and pads. I typically use the mitt on the wheels and the pads on the car. The mitt came from Target. http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care/car+washing/car+cleaning+tools/set+of+two+micro+fiber+wash+pads.do?search=basic&keyword=microfiber+pad&sortby=newArrivals&page=1
3.Drying towels - My drying towels also come from Griot's Garage. http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+care/car+drying/micro+fiber+drying+towel.do?search=basic&keyword=microfiber+towel&sortby=newArrivals&page=1
I cleaned all of the cars this morning and they are shining again! The trucks ... I let God do those when it rains. Haven't seen much rain lately.

My car is so fast, that it dries itself using 1-3 gear.

is it really that good? ZERO water spots after letting the water sit there? im just simply blown away at how thats possible after the millions of times ive dried my car...i need to find someone local and spray a panel on my car so my mind can accept it haha
DallasM5...The test you need to do is spray your car with the "Spot Free System". Then pull your car into the garage and let it sit. Because you will be on a level surface...some water spots are going to sit and evaporate. Those spots when dry...will be the true test if the system works.

wouldnt it be more "effective" to let the car sit in the sun so the water evaporates before it collects anything from the air?

I'd love to see the results also. My Civic (commuting car) always has run streaks from the mirrors down that have to be cleaned off after it completely dries. Even when I blow air around that area, somehow water collects inside the mirror post (both sides) and slowly comes out.
I have to admit, I am a spot free skeptic.

Mike (Qship5) sells them and uses one in his business. PM him to see if he's willing to do a demo.

That is true. My driveway is at an angle and I can never get any water spots to hold.
Look forward to your findings.

well id rather not hold the water, i try to sheet off as much as possible when rinsing the car off. i have that last 5-15% of water still on the car which i dry, but if i dont get to it quick enough, it leaves water spots.
if this eliminates that last 5-15%, then im game.

I'll be happy to do another demo at one of the Saturday meets. This weekend is out, but the following Saturday will work.

The system will make a believer of any skeptic. Some of the best $$ spent on my car (and any future cars) to date!

Agreed.
Too many places for water to hide to try and do it any other way, especially with my soft top.
