This has probably been asked before, but where are some trusted places to go for oil and filter changes around north dallas (plano/mckinney/frisco) ?

If you'd consider driving down to Park Cities, I'd be more than happy to help!

Nice ride. I can tell you that I have two horror stories of oil change places up here in the Frisco area. I agree, take to Safe4Now and get it done right at autoscope.

I am too paranoid and I do all my own oilchanges, but I curse almost every time as oil splatters on me and the driveway for one reason or another. I swear to never do it again myself and there I am right back under the car the next oil change. :D

Yeah somethings if you want it done right you gotta do it yourself. Plus it's so easy on my BMW's it's quicker for me to do it my self than take it somewhere and wait. Buy a BMW LOL, have never has oil splatter doing mine. The Land Rover is another story though LOL.

This. 15 min oil change places scare me, plus I like to run OEM filters and new crush washers every time. If I didn't do my own I would take it to Steve's shop, they will make sure its done right :thumbsup2:

+1 (OEM filters)

Great car, the NSX was my dream car for a couple of decades (most of my youth) and still is by some measure. If I had the $$$ and space for a collection, it would be there. As a driven collectable.

Dude, you've got a 55 engine! Go to Harbor Freight, pick up the Mity-Vac 10 quart extractor and do it yourself, just like the MB techs do!

You can do it in a suit and not even have to bend your knees!
Less than 10 minutes to extract and then however long (careful) you take in filling. I'm not exaggerating about the suit, there is no need to change clothes because you never get near the floor of your garage and your hands only get dirty if you're the messy type.

I trust me the most, even if I screw up plenty! :D

+1 on this if you are willing to do your own work. The Mityvac makes changing oil on these cars a super easy and clean job. I change mine every 5K miles or more depending on # of track days so the Mityvac has paid for itself several times over.

If having someone do it for you, I completely agree with the recommendation of Autoscope. Steve (Park Cities location) or Rick (Plano location) will take great care of your car.
