I know that a lot of you are into tracking and so forth. Here is another option that I have run across that seems to be a little less intense than track days and may be easier on the car. I ran across this on another forum and have never been to one. So I can't say much about the event itself.

i have been to a Texas Time Trials event and it is a good time.

40 dollars and lots of runs. Not like SCCA where its 40 dollars and maybe 4 or 5 runs.

Courses are longer and you can carry more speed than an autocross course.

Only issue is that the events are at Mineral wells airpark and the surface is quite rough on tires.

I plan on doing one this month sometime.
