I have a 2002 Toyota Avalon that has a small bend on the inside of one of the wheels. Can someone suggest a good local repair place that can straighten the wheel for me? My only concern is the wheels are chromed.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Bent on the inside or the outside of the wheel? There are only a few companies that I know of that repair chome wheels and none quick.

Better bet might be to 1. Find a wheel company that will do an exchange with you 2. Find a salavage company that has one for sale

Shoot me a picture of your wheel with sizing, I will work through my source tomorrow for you

or, look up green leaf auto salvage,( previously AAA Small Car World ) they should be able to help.

Thanks Steve,

Here is a picture of the wheel. The bend is very small and on the inside of the wheel. It's a daily driver and not too noticeable but annoying.

I will also check out Green Leaf Auto Salvage. Thanks for the lead.

Since the bend is on the inside of the wheel, you can get it repaired locally.

The area may have some discoloration, but it will be straight.

The shop I use charges $135.00 and will have it done overnight

Thanks Steve, Do I need to bring it down to your Park Cities location or can I drop it in Plano?

Not sure. Previous owner must have hit something. When the tires were replaced we noticed some black marks on the rim and they were marking where the bend is. So someone knew it was there.

x2 on what Louis said. I've had them fix 10 wheels in the past, and they do excellent work. They do a LOT of the dealerships work around here as well.
