Just had them re powder coat my wheels for the third time hoping they get it right... Nope.. They weren't even polished out and they baked too long and now they're green... So instead of Competition Gray wheels, I now have Competition Green wheels... I demanded a refund and they said, we can redo them.. Lol!! I told them after 3 times they are not allowed to touch them again and to send me a refund.. Been waiting for the wheels for 3 days with my car on jackstands at my shop and they came back green.. So... The question is.. Do I buy some ZR1 repros which are now available, or the 09 Spider Z06 Wheels.. I think the Spider wheels are lighter though..

Three powder coatings Yikes - they may be ruined now, that is a lot of re-heating times.
Have you spoken to Peter at WheelExperts about new wheels? They are a sponsor here 1-877-681-0700. They are excellent and you will not be disappointed, as he has come to the rescue for many members. :thumbsup2:

Yes, I have.. Very knowledgeable guy. My problem is that the oem wheels are lighter than any of the aftermarket wheels.. And I am a bit of a purist.. Weight is the enemy..

I like the ZR1 repros a little better than the spiders, but either would look good!

Is there a rear wide-body in your future :questionmark:

Yup.. There is a group buy for the wide body now on CF for 1,100.. If I just didn't put a transmission in a sprinter van I would of bought it:(

Just get a set of the new HRE Carbon series wheels from Peter and be done with it. I think they weigh something like 16 lbs. Hopefully that's light enough for you.

Oh yeah, you'll also lose some extra weight from you, the driver as your wallet will be lighter after the purchase. I think they run about $11K for a set of four!

Might be a bit out of my budget... It's hard to find a 19x10 that is lighter than 22lbs... Especially for 800 a set!

$800 a set????? I hate how cheap stuff is for these American cars! I can't even get a 22lb wheel for $800 each for my car.:(
