I've been wanting to try out the new setup on my BMW before my 3 day drive through Central and South Texas in January. With Cars and Coffee on January 1st, this sounds like a great starting point for a drive.

Who: You and however many people will ride with you (open to all car makes and models)
What: Saturday Morning Drive to Lunch (RAIN OR SHINE)
When: January 1st - Start Time - 10:00 AM

Start: Cars and Coffee - Classic BMW Plano
End: TBD

Requirements: FRS Radio, full tank of fuel, and safe driving skills
Route Map: Provided the day of the drive
Lunch: TBD

Details: From the meet point, the route is approximately 150 miles or about 2.5 hours. On this trip, we may stop along the way for a quick break.

Please post here your interest. Compared to some of my faster paced drives, I would classify this one as more moderately paced.

The hang overs are definitely winning for a January 1st drive. I have 3 maybe's and no one confirmed. Unless I can get at least one person confirmed by noon, I'll join the hangover crowd. ;)

I am very pleased with the suspension and tuning. The tuning has provided a little more kick to the car as I can really tell the difference in the torque output. The hp gain is harder to tell just from driving. The suspension on the softest setting is definitely stiffer than factory (although my 14 year old suspension was very worn out and overly soft anyways). I like it as it provides great response to the car. My wife actually likes it a little better. It is not as stiff as my S2000 was, so it seems to be a nice compromise. Just for kicks, I put it on the stiffest setting available. OMG it rode harsher than my F350 dually. I'm not sure that I would ever use that stiff of a setting.
