I bet it looked pretty funny seeing a F-GT chasing down a vette or two with a light bar :D

Kind of like the Need for Speed trailer

Odds are the (complete) video will not be seen outside the forum of which the participating members frequent.

Those are good odds.

I only have one picture. The script reads like this:

Uh, exsqueezme officer, how fast do you think we were going? Noooooo, over 70 you say? It couldn't be.

You could hear us from how far away? I may have a small exhaust leak but really, 5 miles?

Me? Flashing lights? That's madness, I tell you. Nobody really reported that did they. The car looks a 'little bit' like a DPS car but clearly lights would be illegal.

I'm going home now to check on that exhaust leak. Thank you for the warning, I will never, almost get in this much serious trouble again.

After seeing in the news how they arrested that guy who posted a video to youtube of him doing a quick run in his Vette, I am much more hesitant about posting anything.

never mind... found it: http://www.news9.com/Global/story.asp?S=13729196

Certainly a case there for reckless driving, wow there were a lot of cars around for that kind of BS. Although they are going to have a hard time convicting unless they get the original video footage or he admitted to everything.

It was discussed on another forum, that the cop has to witness the crime being comitted in person. The article goes on to say that the guy confessed he was operating the vehicle, in the video in question (which doesn't seem like a very smart thing to do).

Video can be edited easily enough and the burden of proof would fall on the prosecution but if they confiscated the camera when they arrested him then the video may be admissible... maybe. However, if he admitted to it... then the game is over.

Way too much traffic to be doing those kinds of speeds. It is one thing to kill yourself on a deserted road ... it's another to potentially take out others with you.

It wouldn't be too hard to prove that it was him driving the car since we get several good face shots in the video. I never take video like that when I video a drive.

Risky... but thats a part of the game.
