If you haven't ever been to this show out at Dallas Market Hall, it's a pretty good one. Some of the hot rods and customs there are unbelievable.

I'll be using it as an excuse to leave work early and plan on arriving Friday around 3:30. Hopefully there will be less people in the way for taking pictures than the rest of the weekend. Hopefully I'll see some of you out there.

I see from Terry Box's article in the DMN that Charlie Nearburg will be showing his Bonneville record setting car that went over 400 mph, setting a record for a single engine car. Charlie took me to his race shop a few years ago where they work on his stable of cars. Pretty impressive setup.

Yeah, someone in the area owns it. It was at the Italian Car Fest as well as Cars & Coffe a couple times. Pics are among a few backlogged due to other projects. I'll post them here eventually though.

Actually, looking back at my pics, the car was at the very first Cars & Coffee in May 2009. There are 4 or 5 shots of it in this gallery.

The Alpha 8C owner also owns some other incredible cars as well. He had both the 8C and his 458 Italia at Italian Car Fest. Really nice guy too. He will have something significant at our Autos In The Park at Cooper Aerobic Center on June 5.

The black one with black rims? Did he get rid of it?
I saw a 458 like that with a "SOLD" sticker in the window at Boardwalk last November. Not too sure if it's the same one.
