Picked up a cpo'd 2007 997 911s Cab yesterday at boardwalk. Silver/Black. Pics soon.

Was looking at 996 turbos, didn't do it for me. The 997's seem to feel more "raw" to me, especially with sport chorno on and pasm set to sport (or however it works). Was initially afraid I would miss the torque of the M, but the S feels good and had the most important factor to me, which I'll call the smile factor.

Drove 2008 m3 coupe, was nice, but again didn't feel like the porsche to me.

Good choice. Were you the one eyeballing the black cab with black Modulare wheels yesterday morning? I was there for a few hours doing a PPI on my Turbo for sale.

Congrats on the Porsche! I'm surprised you felt that the 997 was more raw than the 996... But I've never driven a 997 Cab so that might be quite a different experience than the coupes.

Anyways, look forward to seeing it at a Sat meet. Post some pics!

Well, drove a bone stock 996 turbo, honestly just didn't feel as tight as the 997s w/ the sport mode set. The 996 felt (to me) like the 997s felt with sport off.
